Agilyx often acts as a commercial integrator, value-added reseller, implementation ‘partner’, billing agent or referrer for some of the world’s most innovative software companies. Each such organisation is often referred to as a partner or in longer form a channel partner. This is software industry jargon for selling software through a cohesive and organised supply chain (the channel).
Agilyx is at the ‘end’ of the channel and sells software directly to end-customers, usually accompanied by a tailor-made implementation services package and after-sales services that customers need to keep their software in good working order. There are two ways this occurs, either with Agilyx selling a resalable sub-licence (resale) or with Agilyx acting as an agent for the software vendor (referral). Whether you are purchasing through a resale or referral arrangement is disclosed in the specific terms.
